I had my first transplant in 1979, just months before my wedding. I had 50 plugs implanted with the intention of having another 100 put in the following year. At the time the doctor felt that was all I needed to cover where I was thinning. It was for 1979 the state-of-the-art technology. However, it was painful procedure and I never returned. Consequently, as I grew older and male pattern baldness kicked in, I was losing all the hair around the plugs and that accentuated the fact that I had an outdated transplant. It wasn't until I turned 52 that I decided to do something about it. I have two daughters and I didn't want to someday walk them down the aisle looking like an old man. So, I visited Bosley Medical because I knew they were the best and the infomercials I saw were done with professionalism, class, and dignity. Now, two procedures later, people are noticing what an improvement the hair has made in my appearance and my daughters love it. Through the years my wife has kept her youthful appearance and once someone thought she was one of my daughters. That experience was great for her and horrible for me. They don't make that mistake anymore!
